Copy Your Email Templates to Mailchimp

Copy Your Email Templates to Mailchimp

You can copy any of your email templates you have already created in your E-Mail Templates from EngageCRM to Mailchimp.

NotesNOTE: There are, however, a few things to keep in mind. The action will send the text as well as formatting to Mailchimp and convert any ###AGENT_€¦### replacement patterns to their current value. However, if you modify the replacement pattern value after the fact, changes will not be reflected in the templates already copied to Mailchimp. You will have to update the template by logging in to Mailchimp.

Also, lead-related replacement patterns like (###LEAD_NAME###, ###LEAD_EMAIL### and ###LEAD_PHONE###) will be changed to Mailchimps equivalent replacement patterns so they can be used as intended with future lead lists as well.

To copy email template:

  1. From the Engage CRM (MyLeads) menu, select Email Templates
  2. Locate the email template you would like to send to Mailchimp
  3. Click on the button to Export template to Mailchimp

At this point you are ready to create your first audience/group and start sending.
